Throughout his coaching career, Marc has catalyzed the architecture and behavioral processes that promote co-creation and integration of performance-enhancing activities in individuals and organizations. Prior to working with Dialogos, Marc crafted an unprecedented career in emergency management that placed him on the national stage. From hundreds of major wildland fires to the Oklahoma City bombing, the Columbia Shuttle tragedy, and the terrorist attacks of 9/11, Marc has served at the epicenter of disasters, solving issues, leading people and saving lives. This career arc has required effective communication with extremely diverse audiences ranging from the President of the United States, to local politicians and family members who have lost loved ones. Throughout all these tasks and assignments, Marc has led people and organizations to successful outcomes.
As a consultant, he has worked with senior executives and leader industry and government to improve performance, enhance capacity and generate innovation. Specializing in leadership development, collaborative approaches and instigating innovation. Marc has assisted clients in both discovering and unlocking the potential within their systems.
He holds a BS in Forest Management from Mississippi State University. Along with other post-graduate studies, Marc has completed work in Silviculture and Fire Science at Mississippi State, and in Leadership Studies at the University of Idaho and Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
